Underwater shots can be really hit or miss, so much can go wrong especially when I’m combing water and injecting acrylic paints, though in some cases it just works first time. Setting up the exposure right before the acrylic paint is essential, three lights to illuminate the jig and two with red gels to color the background……then inject the paint. There’s not much chance to get it right, a few brief seconds to fire off a couple of shots as the paint disperses throughout the water.
