DEEP DIVING – HALCO SLIDOG 150 LUMO

Creating a lure diving into the water is a bit tricky but add a large super heavy stickbait and then it becomes a real change. The Halco Slidog is big and heavy, as soon as it hits the water it moves that quick that it’s easy to miss the shot. A few trial runs on getting the right diving angle helped slow it down a bit and the rest is up to the flash system to freeze the action and your trigger finger on the remote.

For this I used a deep vertical tank, three light setup, black reflector and all the lights off in the studio, only relying on the modelling light on the Godox AD600 Pro for some visual light. Triggering the shot took the collaboration of a Godox X-Pro, Nikon WR-10 and a Miops Water Trigger…. Elaborate but it works every time once you set the delay timing right.
