SEAFALCON REAL MACKERAL 20G

Though product shots for catalogues, websites, brochures etc are my stable photography, its nice to now and then to mix it up a bit. Japanese company Seafalcon recently released a new range of “micro” jigs, the Real Mackeral in micro sizes. For the release in the trade magazine, Angling International, Seafalcon asked me to supply some promo images.

The target species for these jigs are small predatory fish like yellowtail, small mackerel, rock fish etc, all these fish are common throughout the world especially around piers, docks and harbors. With that in mind it was the perfect time to walk the local breakwater and piers with my young son to catch some yellowtail for the images.  This image was shot on location .
