DAIWA AIRD X PRE-MOUNTED COMBO
Back during December 2019, I shot a whole swag of Pre-mounted combos for Daiwa, BCF, Tackleworld and Compleat Angler. Pre-mounted combos present many difficulties for lighting. Rods and reels require different light setups and focal lengths, doing one shot of the lot never looks that good to me. So, the only way around it is to photograph all the components like several rod sections and reels including main reel body, handles, handle knobs etc separately then construct the image in Photoshop.
For every product shot I have always and will always almost religiously use Perspective Control lenses, they allow me to attain critical focus across the length of a product and eliminate any distortion or perspective distortion issues.
In this case Nikkor Micro 45 and 85 PC lenses are used along with various lighting setups to capture all the components, plus all the components are physically measured so when the image is constructed, they are all the correct size/proportion.
